CV uses sample SD with denominator n−1 and includes measured zeros only where the gene is called present or duplicated. The matched comparison uses the 500 closest genes by log mean TPM, with at least 100 carrying isolates, excluding the queried gene. A top-10% CV flag is descriptive. Expression contrasts require eligible calls in both the target strain and FY4-6. One retained measurement per strain and no replicated FY4-6 reference means these are descriptive differences, not formal differential-expression tests. Gene absence, copy number, mapping and population structure affect interpretation. Public research-data snapshot hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
